Durga Puja
Bengalis across the globe have transformed Durgapuja from a religious festival to a celebration of friendship, tradition, art and culture. We are no exception. Every year during the month of September/ October we celebrate Durgapuja with a mega 6 day long event preceded by three months of intense preparation.
Over the years we have created our own living traditions like Anandamela, Coffee House, Quiz Time, Bijoya Sanmeloni- a host of unique sub-events that make our celebration more engaging and memorable.
Diwali & Kali Puja
The lights of the 'fanushs' brighten up the night sky every Diwali as Maa Kali descends to shower her blessings upon us. DCDP has been celebrating Kali Pujo with immense enthusiasm as the members gather to celebrate the triumph of good over evil.
Saraswati Puja
Spring Festival is held during Saraswatipuja every year. We encourage greater participation of the local residence irrespective of their ethnic origin or faith, and therefore the festivity is planned accordingly.
The DLF City Phase 1 Community Centre donned a flowery look to welcome the season of Spring (2017 - 2019). Our ever creative members got together with unbounded enthusiasm to create a stunning Flower Carpet to usher in the season as well as receive Maa Saraswati with utmost devotion.
