Bringing a slice of Bengal to our Bengali community in Gurgaon has been a constant endeavour of DCDP. The inheritance of the various facets of the Bengali culture, be it in the form of devotion or through mediums such as stories, dramas, dances and music has always been the aim of our veteran members and we've been effectively passing the baton to the younger generations over the years. Artisans in various fields such as handicrafts, dance and music form the crux of any culture in our country. We've occasionally organised the Bangla Mela wherein we've invited artisans from West Bengal to showcase and sell their artwork. We've also encouraged and attempted to revive various dying art forms such as Chhau dances etc.
